Our Mission

Our mission is dedicated to community development targeting youth from greater Boston. The youth committee works to provide a supportive and nurturing environment aimed at creating strong community bonds that will foster strong social values, leadership skills, social conscience, self worth and personal development. The youth committee aims at keeping youth off the streets and away from the many vices. We work to develop the character of these youth so that they may always carry with them a positive social outlook, and become a responsible citizens that take an active role and come to the forefront of their community as leaders and lead successful, fulfilling and beneficial careers and lives.

Objectives and goals:

• Create a fun atmosphere for the youth, and strenghten our Brother and sister hood.
• Build a trust and respect between the mentors and the participant during the programs and activities.
• Create a strong bond between the youth and their community.
• Make them proud of their identity and give them sense of responsibility.

Counseling sessions:

• Understand the difficulties and challenges that face our youths as Muslims in this country.
• Give them advices to surpass their difficulties.
• Make the parents aware of the morale situation of their kids, and how they can resolve their problem with wisdom.
• Make our youths aware of the dangers that they can face in this society, and means of protection.
